In January 2017 Shell awarded Sky-Access to execute NDT testing on two tanks on the site of Stanlow Refinery – Ellesmere Port UK. The two tanks required Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement testing. Sky-Access executed the work with two Rope Access Technician, including one NDT specialist . The team travelled with all the necessary rope access en NDT equipment to the UK and finished the job within 4 days. The customer was impressed with the tank entry technique used by Sky-Access, the knowledgeable technicians and the speed in which they finished the job.
