Sky-Access B.V. was awarded with a contract for the 5 years’ NDT inspection in an acetic acid tank. Scope of work consist of liquid penetrant and ultrasonic testing. Sky-Access designed a light weight frame in order to span a diameter of 18 meters in the tank. In a period of two working days, we assembled the frame in the tank, executed the inspection and disassembled the frame. With our technical rope assess solution, we realized a saving of 10 days downtime for Akzo Nobel. You can imagine that they were positive surprised and very satisfied.
